Does TID-C support multi-factor authentication?

Yes, multi-factor authentication is supported. To enable multi-factor authentication:

Navigate to https://profile.tylerportico.com/portal/profile
Select Edit Profile
Select Extra Verification
Choose the second authentication method (SMS or email)

1. How do I reset my password?: Follow the password reset instructions (PDF) to update your password.

2. Will residents and businesses have to change their passwords after the TIC-C conversion process is complete?: Yes, all utility customers who pay their water bills online through the CSS portal must change their password after the upgrade process is complete. Review the password reset instructions (PDF).

3. How does the change impact the login process?

After the creation of a Tyler ID (TID) account, the system will attempt to match to an existing CSS account using the email address from the TID account.

If a single CSS account is located, the process will automatically link the CSS account to the TID account in a seamless process.
If multiple CSS accounts are located using the email address, the process will not attempt to link to either account and will treat the user as a new account. The customer will need to link their accounts again.
If no CSS accounts are located, the process treats this login as a new registration and creates a new CSS account. The customer will need to link their accounts again.

4. What are the TID-C Registration and Password Reset link expiration times?: The email verification link will be valid for seven days. The password reset link expires in one hour.

5. Is it possible to disable the social network login in TID-C?: No, this feature is a core component of TID-C, and it is not possible to remove them from the login page.
