The ramps, sidewalks, street crossings, and intersections associated with this project will be replaced and will look different than before. In late 2020, City Council approved a design contract with Westra Consultants, LLC in the amount of $359,500. The Water/Sewer Enterprise Fund will be utilized to cover the portion of the project that relates to utility design, $96,382. The balance of the design cost, $263,118, will be funded from the quarter-cent sales tax fund.
It is estimated that the complete reconstruction of this street will cost approximately $4.8 million.
