Braille Games
Borrow board games converted for use by seeing, visually impaired, and blind players. The Coppell Lions Club developed these games as a legacy project to offer accessible gaming to the blind and visually impaired members of the community. Braille overlays have been applied to many elements of the games which allow sighted players to seamlessly play alongside players with visual impairments. Cardboard Cutouts

Craft Kits for Adults
Checkout one of our new craft kits for adults. These kits have everything you need to learn how to crochet or knit. Find the kits on the nonfiction shelves or search "crochet kit" or "knitting kit" in the online catalog.
Craft Kits for Teens
Teen Craft Kits, aimed at middle school and high school students, contain all that you need to craft at home. Coppell library card holders are responsible for returning the box in the same condition in which they received it. Some items will be used during the crafts and will be replaced by the library at no fee to patrons. Browse the collection by searching "Teen Craft Kits" in the online catalog. Teen Craft Kits checkout for 3 weeks. Checkouts are limited to one box per card.
Discovery Backpacks for Kids
Discovery Backpacks create new and exciting learning opportunities for elementary age kids. Each backpack is centered around a theme (math, engineering, space, etc) and includes books, games, or activities on the topic. Search "discovery backpacks" on the catalog to find the entire collection.
Early Literacy Backpacks for Young Kids
Early Literacy Backpacks feature different themes with developmentally appropriate manipulatives and books for ages 1 - 5. Browse the collection by searching "Early Literacy Backpacks" in the online catalog. Backpacks checkout for 3 weeks. Checkouts are limited to one backpack per card. Early Literacy Backpacks are funded by the Friends of the Library.
Jigsaw Puzzles for Kids and Adults
Checkout a puzzle to complete by yourself or with friends and family. There are puzzles located in the kids and adult section with various puzzle sizes and pieces.
