National Anthem Auditions
Calling all Coppell singers!
Join the City of Coppell as we hold resident auditions to sing the National Anthem at this year’s Celebrate Coppell: Party in the Park! Perform a solo or grab a group of friends and show off your skills for a chance to perform in front of the Coppell community.
The first round of auditions will be video submission only and must be emailed to events@coppelltx.gov by midnight on Tuesday, June 7 to be considered. Video files and/or links (Google Drive, YouTube, etc.) will be accepted. Please include a preferred contact along with your submission. Staff will reach out to callback contestants following first round auditions.
Contestants are welcome to perform acapella or with a track and must be comfortable singing in front of a live audience.
Callbacks will be held at the Coppell Arts Center, located at 505 Travis St., on Tuesday, June 14 at 6:30pm. The winner will be announced via Facebook on Friday, June 17 at 5:00pm.
Important Dates:
- Tuesday, June 7: Audition videos due
- Friday, June 10: Callback contestants contacted
- Tuesday, June 14: Callback Auditions at the Coppell Arts Center
- Friday, June 17: Winner announced via Facebook
Rules & Regulations
- All contestants must be Coppell residents
- Callback contestants must attend callbacks on Tuesday, June 14 in order to be considered as a finalist.
- Winner will be chosen at the discretion of the City of Coppell Audition Panel.
- Winner must be able to commit to attending Celebrate Coppell: Party in the Park on July 2.
- Winner’s live performance must not vary from rendition performed during auditions.
